The state-owned company posted the after-tax profit of approximately € 923,000 in 2015, while it was over € 2.1 million in 2014.
The state-owned company Vodohospodarska Vystavba was not very successful last year after its after-tax profit declined by more than 57% year-on-year despite taking over the operation of the hydropower plant Gabcikovo. Several government officials awaited considerable profits from the operation of this power plant. The financial statement of Vodohospodarska Vystavba published in the register showed that the state-owned company posted the after-tax profit of approximately € 923,000 last year, while it was over € 2.1 million in 2014. The revenues remained almost unchanged y/y. Last year, the company posted the revenues of nearly €92 million while it was slightly higher figure in 2014. The company faced higher costs compared to the year 2014. Last year, the costs amounted to almost € 86 million and € 74 million in 2014.
