The investor of the new nuclear power plant in Jaslovske Bohunice will be obliged to meet more than 130 conditions and measures during the implementation of the project as well as during the operation of the nuclear power plant.
The new nuclear power plant project in Jaslovske Bohunice has advanced to the next stage and is ready for the approval procedure in line with the nuclear and construction act. Slovakia’s environment ministry has already issued a positive stance to EIA. However, the investor will be obliged to meet more than 130 conditions and measures during the implementation of the project as well as during the operation of the nuclear plant. Uncertainties which occurred during the assessment of environmental impacts must be solved in the following stages of the project and operational documentation, added the ministry. The ministry’s officials suggested the investor to build one nuclear reactor of generation III + with a maximum net installed capacity up to 1,700 MW.
