Prime Minister warned that artificial increase in advance payments in central Slovakia cannot be accepted by the government.
The Regulatory Office for Network Industries will sign new pricing decisions on Wednesday which, in case of electricity in central Slovakia, will reach the levels from 2016, informed Prime Minister Robert Fico who met the head of the Office, Jozef Holjencik. He says that people should not pay anything, as “these bills are invalid, do not exist and can be thrown to the bin.“ Prime Minister warned that the artificial increase in advance payments seen in central Slovakia cannot be accepted by the government. He noted that the company Zapadoslovenska Energetika had not received any complaints from consumers. Therefore the price decision on electricity, which will be signed by the Office, will only affect Stredoslovenska Energetika. In case of gas, pricing decision will become effective across the Slovak Republic.
