Gas transport in Slovakia revived in 2015

Last year, the Slovak pipeline transported almost 56 billion cubic meters of gas. A year earlier it was 46.5 billion cubic meters.

Natural gas transportation in Slovakia increased last year. While in 2014, only 46.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas were transported via the Slovak pipeline operated by Eustream, it was nearly 56 billion cubic meters in 2015. More than 2.3 trillion cubic meters have been transported since 1972 when the strategic transit gas pipeline was put in operation, informed the Slovak Gas and Oil Association.
