The number of relevant electricity and gas suppliers has been stable in a long term, says the Regulatory Office for Network Industries.
According to the Regulatory Office for Network Industries, alternative suppliers have no intention to end their operation on the Slovak energy market despite the fact that several larger energy suppliers have reiterated that they expect the departure of small alternative supplies from the Slovak market amid increasing wholesale electricity and gas prices across global markets. “The Office has no information about the departure of any alternative energy supplier in Slovakia. The fact is that the number of relevant electricity and gas suppliers in Slovakia has been stable in a long term,“ a spokesman for the Office, Radoslav Igaz informed the portal vEnergetike.sk.
