Electricity producers who will decide to generate electricity via highly efficient combined heat and power in the combustion engine running on natural gas must expect lower purchase price from next year.
Some purchase prices for electricity generated via energy sources based on highly efficient combined heat and power (CHP) will be lower from January 2016. According to the Regulatory Office for Network Industries (URSO), lower purchase prices of green electricity will affect facilities burning natural gas. „The modification of purchase prices for electricity generated by highly efficienct combined heat and power was caused by a fall in natural gas price,“ the regulatory authority justified its steps. URSO has already worked up a new regulation which lays down the price regulation in power engineering.
