Hungarian oil and gas company MOL could soon become the sole 100-percent shareholder of the Slovak company Slovnaft. MOL has decided to exercise of the right of taking over the outstanding shares of the Bratislava-based refinery. “Our goal is to simplify and streamline the ownership structure of Slovnaft and thus simplify the administration and management of the company,“ MOL informed. Exercising of the right to take over the shares is subject to the approval of the National Bank of Slovakia.
