Enel’s CFO Alberto De Paoli says negotiations on the sale of the Italian stake in Slovak dominant electricity producer will take another 15 to 20 days.
Negotiations between the Italian company Enel and the Czech company Energeticky a Prumyslovy Holding (EPH) on the sale of Slovenske Elektrarne’s shares have not yet finished. Enel’s CFO Alberto De Paoli announced at the press conference that negotiations on the sale of the Italian stake in Slovak dominant electricity producer will take another 15 to 20 days. Enel wants to seal the contract before the end of the year, while the sale will come to a definite end two or three months later. According to The Financial Times, Enel is expected to sell a 33-percent stake in Slovenske Elektrarne for 350 million euros in the first stage. Enel’s CEO Francesco Starace neither confirmed nor denied this information. Economy Minister Vazil Hudak also has a mandate to continue talks on the change of Slovenske Elektrarne‘s ownership structure.
