The power utility Slovenske Elektrarne modernized safety systems at the second nuclear unit in Mochovce.
The second nuclear unit in Mochovce is once again a little safer. The power utility Slovenske Elektrarne has finished the extended stoppage at the second nuclear unit by attaching it to the grid. During the stoppage, seismic resistance of the nuclear unit was improved, among other things. “We have carried out all planned supporting activities and investment projects. Works on increasing seismic resistance of the nuclear unit and modernization of the safety systems were of the greatest significance,“ work coordination manager Robert Verbovsky informed.
