The Regulatory Office for Network Industries ordered heating companies to return 4.396 million euros to consumers for the year 2015.
It is common for energy companies to charge different prices for energy deliveries plies. Last year, however, the Regulatory Office for Network Industries (URSO) unveiled the enormous increase in such practices. While in 2014, energy suppliers had to return more than 92,000 euros to their customers, last year it was 4.4 million euros. „Regulated entities were ordered to return the funds, which represented the difference between the charged price and the price that a regulated entity could charge under valid legal regulations,“ a spokesman for for the Office, Radoslav Igaz, informed the portal vEnergetike.sk
