The chairman of the Regulatory Office for Network Industries informed Prime Minister Robert Fico about his resignation on Thursday.
Jozef Holjencik has resigned from the post of the chairman of the Regulatory Office for Network Industries. He informed Prime Minster Robert Fico about his decision on Thursday. The head of the Office is now obliged to send a letter with his decision to resign to the Slovak President. The government will subsequently propose a new candidate for this post. According to Prime Minister, the regulatory authority will continue working until the appointment of the new chairman. All powers will be taken over by the vice-chairman of the Office, Miroslav Celinsky. The Prime Minister has refused to specify the name of Holjencik’s successor.
