BRATISLAVA, June 12, (WEBNOVINY) – Members of the ruling coalition the KDH and SaS have discussed discords during the latest, eighteenth parliamentary session. During the session, the KDH did not support SaS draft bills on undertaking services and on joint custody of children after divorce. Defense Minister Lubomir Galko (SaS) stated a week ago that KDH’s behavior was unacceptable. Today, Speaker of Parliament and SaS leader Richard Sulik says their relations are good.
On Sunday, Sulik further said it was not necessary to comment on the issue further, as they had discussed the problems with the KDH party. “I can only confirm that relations are good”, he announced.
Martin Fronc for the KDH party told SITA news agency that there was a mistake in voting on the draft amendment to the law on undertaking services, while there was a misunderstanding between the SaS and KDH regarding the law on joint custody. “If no one voiced an objection, it does not necessarily mean support,” Fronc said, adding that the proposed change is not a part of the government program statement.
