BRATISLAVA, September 14, (WEBNOVINY) – Harmonized inflation in August moderately accelerated to 1.1 percent. In July, Slovakia’s consumer prices measured by the European Union’s Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) rose 1 percent y/y. The average twelve-month inflation in the eight month stagnated at July’s level of 0.3 percent. On a monthly basis, consumer prices in August decreased by 0.1 percent from July. It was the first m/m drop this year, informed the Slovak Statistics Office.
