Under the draft budget for the next year, the spending of the Economy Ministry is projected for 428 million euros. In the year-on-year comparison, this represents an increase of 172 million euros.
The next year’s budget of the Economy Ministry of the Slovak Republic (MH) is to increase compared to this year. Under the draft budget for the next year, the spending of the Economy Ministry is projected for 428 million euros. In the year-on-year comparison, this represents an increase of 172 million euros. The money is to be directed at restructuring of industrial sectors, R&D, regional development or administration. The restructuring spending is set at 115 million euros in the next year’s draft budget, which is 47.4 million euros more compared to this year. Around 40 million euros of these funds is to be directed at lowering electricity prices for energy-intensive businesses. The compensation for companies is laid down in the amendment to the Act on the Promotion of Renewable Energy Sources which is currently in the second reading in the Parliament. Economy Minister Peter Ziga originally intended to spend 80 million euros on compensation for about 200 energy-intensive businesses when introducing the amendment.
