President Ivan Gasparovic Turns 70 on Sunday
BRATISLAVA, March 27, (WEBNOVINY) – Slovak President Ivan Gasparovic who celebrates his 70th birthday on Sunday told media on this occasion that his most important priority is to unify the Slovak political scene. The president said he was satisfied with his life, as mainly positive experiences have prevailed in it. Gasparovic went on to say that he feels great both physically and mentally after the recent operation on his hip joint. He continues recovering from the February surgery, exercises on a daily basis and also performs his presidential duties.
President Gasparovic will have his birthday party on Thursday, March 31 at the Bratislava Hotel Borik, with more than 100 guests invited. The head of state will host guests from the government, parliament and other institutions. Among the guests will be also Gasparovic’s friends from the business and media spheres and his close relatives.
