BRATISLAVA, March 11, (WEBNOVINY) – Hong Kong plans to build a logistics center for air cargo transport in Slovakia. A delegation of entrepreneurs from Hong Kong, led by deputy executive director of Hong Kong Trade Development Council Margaret Fong talked with Economy Minister Juraj Miskov about the plan. “The minister expressed support to the plan of the Hong Kong side,” reported the Economy Ministry. Details should be debated with the management of the Transport Ministry.
Entrepreneurs from Hong Kong would like to establish cooperation in the area of food production, too. They would like to import Slovak wines to their country. Fong suggested signing a memorandum of understanding on this issue in the fall of this year in Hong Kong, during the international wine fair. Minister Miskov declared Slovakia’s interest in investments with a higher added value. “According to Fong, it is good news, as Hong Kong is seeking space for investments in science and research,” stated the Economy Ministry.
