BRATISLAVA, July 26, (WEBNOVINY) — Bank analysts have again revised their consumer-price growth forecast upwards. Bank houses in Slovakia said in the July’s round of the National Bank of Slovakia’s regular survey that the harmonized inflation would reach 4.7 percent in late 2011, which was 0.1 percentage points more from June.
Bank analysts did not revise their GDP growth predictions in July. They still foretell that the local economy will bolster 3.6 percent. The Finance Ministry and the central bank forecast exactly the same GDP growth. Bank analysts also kept their 2012 prognosis unchanged versus the previous month, saying that the GDP growth will reach 4.3 percent compared with 4.4 percent predicted by the Finance Ministry.
