State carried out insufficient inspection in Mochovce

The Supreme Audit Office of the Slovak Republic (NKU) states that no stances, respectively recommendations of the state representatives that would prove some reservations about the failures in the completion of nuclear units in Mochoce were found.

V prvom polroku ukončil úrad celkovo 26 kontrol v regulovaných subjektoch. Z výsledkov kontrol vyplýva, že medzi najčastejšie porušenia v elektroenergetike a plynárenstve patrí podnikanie v energetike – dodávka elektriny alebo plynu – bez povolenia, prípadne rozpočítavanie dodávky energií bez oznámenia úradu do 30 dní od začiatku.

Mochovce NPP will be delayed, UJD confirms

Unless the permission holder proves the fulfilment of all legislative requirements, the UJD will not issue permission for commissioning the third nuclear unit of the Mochovce NPP.
