Slovenian Army Chemical Specialists Training in Slovakia

BRATISLAVA, April 21, (WEBNOVINY) — Chemical specialists from Slovenian Armed Forces are in training with radioactive substances in Slovakia. Twenty-three specialists from a group specializing in collection and identification of chemical, radiological and biological substances of the Slovenian Armed Forces are currently in the Training and Testing Center of the Radiation Chemical and Biological Protection Zemianske Kostolany

Following last year’s training of the Slovenian group Sibcra, part of which attended training with samples of real toxic substances, including samples of chemical weapons, its radiological part arrived for training this year. Unit’s members focus on collection and identification of radiological substances. They are detecting real radioactive substances, which are in sealed radioactive radiators, on the premises on the Slovak training center.
