BRATISLAVA, September 20, (WEBNOVINY) – Slovakia’s Defense Minister Lubomir Galko is in Brussels on Monday, where he is to meet with NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen. The topics of their talks will include current security affairs, as well as involvement of the Slovak Armed Forces in operations of international crisis management. Minister Galko will also speak with NATO Assistant Secretary General for Defense Policy and Planning Jiri Sedivy, Assistant Secretary General for Operations Martin Howard and head of NATO Military Committee Giampaolo Di Paolo. Minister Galko will have a working lunch with the European Commission Vice President Maros Sefcovic from Slovakia, with whom he will discuss current EU affairs with the focus on common security and defense policy, informed Defense Ministry’s spokesman Richard Sumeghy.
