BRATISLAVA, August 21, (WEBNOVINY)- Slovak Foreign Minister Mikulas Dzurinda is to pay a brief visit to Austria on Monday, August 23. He is scheduled to meet with his Austrian counterpart Michael Spindelegger, Vice-Chancellor, Finance Minister and Chairman of the Austrian People’s Party (OVP) Josef Proll, and the Governor of Lower Austria Erwin Proll. The aim of the visit is to confirm the excellent and unproblematic relationship between Slovakia and Austria as well as the priority interest in their intensification, essentially in economic, cross-border and regional cooperation. The ministry’s press department specified that Dzurinda will also discuss current issues in Austria focusing on EU policies, global development and multilateral cooperation.
