BRATISLAVA, October 29, (WEBNOVINY) — As elsewhere in Europe, Daylight Saving Time ends in Slovakia on Sunday, October 31, when clocks will be set back one hour from 3:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. CET.
Daylight Saving Time was first used on the territory of Slovakia and later in the Czechoslovak Republic between 1916-1918 and also between 1940-1949. After an almost 30-year break, Daylight Saving Time was reintroduced in 1979. In 1998, Daylight Saving Time ended in October for the first time. Until that year it had ended in September.
