The Slovak Republic is ready to fully cover gas supplies to all consumers in case gas supplies from Russia via Ukraine are halted,“ Prime Minister said. The chairman of the gas utility Slovensky Plynarensky Priemysel (SPP) Jan Valko confirmed that the largest gas company is ready to provide gas supplies also in case of the gas crisis. “We serve around 1.3 million customers and we have adopted significant measures. It cost something, but we fully respect the state’s strategic interest. If any problems arise, we are ready to address them together with our colleagues from other gas companies.
