The American company Westinghouse Electric Company and eight European partners, including the Slovak company VUJE, have received 2 million euros in funding from the European Union. These funds are to be used for diversification of fuel supply for reactors of Russian VVER.
Slovak nuclear power plants may soon start producing electricity using other than Russian nuclear fuel. American company Westinghouse Electric Company, together with eight European partners, including the Slovak company VUJE, have received a subsidy of 2 million euros from the European Union. The money is to be used for diversification of nuclear fuel supply for reactors of Russian VVER.
