BRATISLAVA, November 16, (WEBNOVINY) – Growth of consumer prices in Slovakia measured by the EU methodology decelerated in October. The Statistics Office of the Slovak Republic informed that harmonized inflation reached 1 percent in annual terms in the tenth month of this year, which meant a deceleration of 0.1 percentage points versus September 2010. On a monthly basis, consumer prices have stagnated for the second month in a row. The average 12-month inflation rate stood at 0.5 percent in October, up 0.1 percentage points from September, commented the authority.
