The company Vychodoslovenska Distribucna (VSD) says that distribution companies today bear the difference between the costs of the additional payment for the so-called green electricity and the revenues under the support scheme.
The company Vychodoslovenska Distribucna (VSD) no longer wants to be silent and said aloud what energy companies had been whispering about for several years – a problem with the support scheme for the renewable energy sources (RES) and combined heat and power (CHP). The current support scheme negatively affects the economic performance of the distribution company. Company’s spokeswoman, Andrea Danihelova, informed the portal vEnergetike.sk that it is necessary to reopen this topic. „Distribution companies today bear the difference between the costs related to the additional payment for the so-called green electricity and the revenues under the support scheme. This is a non-systemic solution which negatively influenced the company’s figures even last year,“ Danihelova stated. She says that it is necessary to enhance transparency of the actual costs for RES and CHP.
