The Slovak Regulatory Authority of the Slovak Republic assures that it will not grant a permission to load nuclear fuel if any suspicions on the readiness of the third and fourth nuclear unit in Mochovce arise.
The Nuclear Regulatory Authority of the Slovak Republic (UJD) rejects the possibility that it would grant a permission to load nuclear fuel and launch commercial operation of the nuclear unit if it is insecure and unreliable. „We are overseeing nuclear security, physical protection and emergency preparedness of nuclear facilities across Slovakia. Nuclear facilities under construction are also subject to this supervision. We have been carrying out controls at this site since the beginning of the construction. The operation will receive no permission to load nuclear fuel if we have any doubts that the installation is not ready for its launch,“ Director of UJD’s Office Miriam Vachova informed the portal vEnergetike.sk.
