The Slovak government is waiting for decision of the Italian investor in the sale of its majority stake in power utility Slovenske Elektarne, Economy Minister Vazil Hudak said.
The state is rather in a position of an observer in the sale of a majority stake in the power utility Slovenske Elektrarne, Economy Minister Vazil Hudak said at the press conference on Thursday. He stated that the government had not yet scheduled the talks with the management of Enel which has put out its majority stake for a sale. He added that the government is waiting for the decision of the Italian investor to select a preferred partner. According to the latest information, Hudak says that this decision will be made at the end of August or in early September.
