BRATISLAVA 13. novembra (WebNoviny.sk) – Najúspešnejším albumom všetkých čias podľa amerického magazínu Billboard je štúdiovka 21 (2011) anglickej speváčky Adele. Vyplýva to z hodnotenia, ktoré časopis zostavil na základe dát získaných z albumového rebríčka Billboard 200, a to od jeho založenia v roku 1963. Zostavovatelia brali do úvahy pozíciu albumov v rebríčku v každom týždni, pričom im za ňu priradili určitý počet bodov. Štúdiovka 27-ročnej interpretky si vyslúžila najviac bodov za viac ako 245-týždňové pôsobenie v rebríčku.
Druhú priečku v zozname najúspešnejších albumov obsadil soundtrack snímky Za zvukov hudby (1965). Za ním nasleduje štúdiovka Thriller (1982) Michaela Jacksona. Štvrtý je Fearless (2008) Taylor Swift a prvú päťku uzatvára Born In The U.S.A. (1984) Brucea Springsteena.
Do prvej desiatky sa dostali aj Garth Brooks s počinom Ropin‘ The Wind (1991), Alanis Morissette s nahrávkou Jagged Little Pill (1995), soundtrack filmu Doktor Živago (1965) a skupina Nickelback s albumom All The Right Reasons (2005). Desiaty je počin Tapestry, ktorý v roku 1971 ponúkla skladateľka Carole King.
V druhej desiatke sa nachádzajú napríklad debutové albumy Whitney Houston a Lady Gaga a tiež štúdiovky skupiny Herb Alpert’s Tijuana Brass, speváčky Shanie Twain, speváka Ushera, soundtrack animovaného filmu Ľadové kráľovstvo či ďalší počin Taylor Swift.
Najväčšie zastúpenie má v zozname skupina The Beatles s piatimi albumami. Sú to nahrávky Sgt.
