Opposition MPs wanted to cancel the status of large heat suppliers in the building proceeding who are regarded as the body concerned whose stance is binding.
Opposition MPs have failed for the third time to push through changes in the Act on Heat Energy. Large heat producers will preserve the right to participate in a building proceeding when constructing home boiler rooms. The amendment to the law was submitted to the Parliament by the opposition MP for OLaNO Jozef Viskupic and Lucia Nicholsonova for SaS. The MPs intended in case of the construction of home boiler rooms to cancel the status of large heat suppliers in the building proceeding regarded as the body concerned whose stance is binding as the participant of the proceeding. Proposed changes were not backed by the entire opposition, since the amendment was supported only by 44 MPs.
