BRATISLAVA, August 14, (WEBNOVINY) – The state-run social security provider Socialna Poistovna plans to continue in staff reductions in the coming years. By the end of this year, the company should have 5,200 employees. In 2012, the staff numbers are to decrease to 4,900. At the end of 2014, following electronization of services and simplification of collection of taxes, customs and payroll levies, only 3,400 people are to work for the company. This stems from Socialna Poistovna’s draft budget for 2012 with an outlook until 2014.
Socialna Poistovna’s spokeswoman Jana Duriacova told SITA news agency that since the appointment of the new management last year, the number of employees has dropped by 628. As of mid-July of this year, the company had 5,300 employees. Staff reductions are a part of rationalization measures and necessary systemic changes, Duriacova added.
