BRATISLAVA, February 3, (WEBNOVINY) — According to a report published by the Plus 1 Den daily, Slovak sport shooter Daniela Peskova, one of the most successful sportswomen in Slovakia, was attacked on her way home from a competition in Munich on the night from Saturday on Sunday.
Peskova stopped her car at a service station in Petrzalka, Bratislava, where supposedly an unknown man entered her car and injected something into her body. Shortly before midnight, she called the police. “She was in a state of shock and kept repeating she was afraid and that someone gave her a shot,” the daily quoted police spokesman Frantisek Peczar. She reportedly thought that she still is at a shooting range in Jarovce, where she stopped on her way. Several police cars arrived at the range, but were unable to find her. After unsuccessful attempts to contact her, she was found after she told the police that she saw a road sign stating ‘Rovinka’.
After an ambulance rushed her to hospital, two red dots were found under her right collarbone, probably caused by an electroshock paralyzer. No drugs were found in her blood. Peskova was neither robbed, nor any further signs of violence were found on her body.
