BRATISLAVA, December 10, (WEBNOVINY) – Chairman of the coalition MOST-HID Bela Bugar told journalists on Friday that the Police President Jaroslav Spisiak should refrain from presenting his positions on political issues. “He makes statements on political matters, which he should avoid,” stated Bugar adding, that the Minister of Interior is a politician, but the Police President is not. “He should rather care that the police cannot be accused becasue his deputy did not act in Valko’s case, when he should have and that they were not accused of plagiarism. This is the mission of the police boss and not to talk into politics,” Bugar stated.

Bugar was also critical about the Prosecutor General Dobroslav Trnka. “I do not think that it is desirable or good that the Prosecutor General enters politics. Politics is the field of others,” Bugar said.

Earlier this week, the Prosecutor General Dobroslav Trnka accused Interior Minister Daniel Lipsic, State Secretary of the Ministry Maros Zilinka and Jaroslav Spisiak that they had exercised pressure on the investigator of the case of SMER-SD financing not to reject the case. Spisiak reacted to the accusations at a joint press conference together with the Minister and the State Secretary.
