The Parliament is to select two out of six nominees for the post at the Regulatory Board at the Regulatory Office for Network Industries at the session in January.
Six candidates will be running for a post at the Regulatory Board which operates at the Regulatory Office for Network Industries (URSO) as a controlling and appealing body, at the Parliament’s session in January. The Parliament Economic Committee added three nominees to three unsuccessful candidates from the previous two rounds held in December. The Economic Committee approved the nomination of Jan Duris who was proposed by MP Dusan Tittel (SNS), Ivan Galbicka by MP Anton Hrnka (SNS) and Eduard Hulik by the committee’s deputy chairman Maros Kondrot (Smer-SD). „All candidates presented themselves to the Committee. They were moved into the election that is to take place in the plenum. Two candidates will be elected while Slovak President will choose only one,“ a chairwoman for the committee Jan Kissova informed the portal vEnergetike.sk. MPs may give their vote also to three previously unsuccessful candidates, Lubomir Blasko, Milan Naras or Jozef Mihalcin in January.
