Slovak households are likely to expect higher electricity prices due to the development of the wholesale electricity prices at the Prague Energy Exchange. The latest data released by the Regulatory Office for Network Industries (ÚRSO) showed that the price of one type electricity stood at 44 euros at the end of the previous week, while the price of the second type reached almost 36 euros per MWh. The Regulatory Authority expected the wholesale electricity price of approximately 28 euros per MWh when setting electricity prices for households this year.
