The gas supplies from Slovakia to Ukraine did not fall under 24.5 million cubic meters per day in August.
After summer, Ukraine has started increasing natural gas supplies from Slovakia. While in July, the gas supplies to our eastern neighbor via the gas pipeline Vojany- Uzhgorod amounted to around 19 million cubic meters per day, in August this volume rose to more than 23 cubic meters per day. The gas supplies from Slovakia to Ukraine did not fall under 24.5 million cubic meters per day during this month. However, the pipeline is still used only for roughly 50 percent as its daily capacity is 44 million cubic meters of gas.
