The third nuclear block in Mochovce is finished to 96.2 percent, the fourth block to 84.8 %.
The completion of the third and fourth nuclear block in Mochovce has marked another important step. Slovenske Elektrarne has already connected the third nuclear block to the grid. This connection serves as the major source for the facility’s connection and launch of the block. Once the construction is completed, electricity will be supplied to Slovakia’s grid via this connection. “We have achieved another milestone in launching the nuclear power plant Mochovce. The completed connection of the third block to the grid confirms the progress in the project. Our next step will be the completion of cold hydro tests and the beginning of hot functional tests,“ Francisco Jose Morejon Verdu, project director informed.
