The public has less than a month to comment on the completion of the third unit of the Mochovce Nuclear Power Plant. The participants in the proceedings and the public affected may present their views by February 22 before the Nuclear Regulatory Authority of the Slovak Republic (UJD) makes a decision on putting the nuclear unit into operation. „We give the participants in the proceedings the opportunity to comment on the documents before the issuance of the decision, or they may propose their amending. With this announcement, we are also implementing the right of the public to the decision-making process and access to justice in environmental issues (the Aarhus Convention),“ the UJD informed.
