The settlement of the additional payment resulting from privatisation is not subject to the current talks, since the state has not yet entered actively the purchase of Slovenske Elektrarne’s shares.
The state is currently not holding talks with the Italian company Enel on settling the price for the privatization of a 66-percent stake in the power utility Slovenske Elektrarne. The Slovak economy ministry does not intend to complete the sale of a minority stake in a dominant electricity producer even nine years after the privatisation. „The settlement of the additional payment in connection with the privatisation is not subject to the current talks, since the state has not yet entered actively the purchase of Slovenske Elektrarne’s shares,“ a spokeswoman for the economy ministry Miriam Ziakova informed the portal vEnergetike.sk.
