BRATISLAVA, December 15, (WEBNOVINY) – The volume of new industrial orders in Slovakia rose also in October of this year, namely by nearly one-fourth. According to the data of the Statistics Office of the Slovak Republic, new industrial orders in the tenth month of this year went up 23.7 percent y/y to EUR 3.244 billion. In September 2010, the indicator increased 13.3 percent y/y. Net of seasonal influences, the volume of new industrial orders in October swelled 2.1 percent m/m.
In the January-October period, new industrial orders grew 26.3 percent y/y to EUR 27.893 billion. In 2009, which was strongly marked by negative impacts of the global economic crisis, new industrial orders in Slovak industry fell by nearly 20 percent y/y to EUR 27.156 billion.
