BRATISLAVA, October 1, (WEBNOVINY) — Former director of the prison Ilava, Lt. Col. Robert Mudroncek was appointed new Director General of Prison and Court Guard Corps on Friday. Justice Minister Lucia Zitnanska appointed him to office in Trencin. „Prison and Judicial Guard Corps deserves a responsible leadership with a clean slate, which begins with the commitment to work resolutely to solve problems in the correctional system and in the Prison Guard Corps. I believe that Lt-Col. Mudroncek would take this path and therefore I decided to appoint him as the new director general,“ Zitnanska said. Spokesman for the department Peter Bubla provided her statement to SITA news agency.
Mudroncek has been serving in the Prison and Judicial Guard Corps since 2000. He has served in several correctional institutions in various management positions. Before the current assignment, he was director of the Correctional Institution in Ilava.
