In the past two months, we saw the lowest gas supplies flowing from Russia to Slovakia. In November and December 2021, the average daily gas shipment via the Velke Kapusany point reached approximately 90 million cubic meters, compared to only 26 million cubic meters in the past two days. „We can really see a significant decline in gas shipment at the Velke Kapusany point. However, this drop is not caused by technical problems on the Slovak-Ukrainian border, but by reduced demands of our clients for transit,“ said Pavol Kubik, a spokesman for the Slovak natural gas carrier, Eustream.
