The annual plan is the extraction of roughly 5 million cubic meters of gas next to the village Palin.
Slovakia has another locality for a possible natural gas extraction. The company Nafta plans to kick off the extraction of combustible natural gas from deposits near the village Palin in Michalovce district. Nafta found out that the intitial geological stocks of combustible natural gas in eastern Slovakia were 45.5 million cubic meters. Nafta plans to extract 5 million cubic meters of gas every year near Palin.
