Slovakia Borrowed EUR 150M in a Bond Auction

BRATISLAVA, October 11, (WEBNOVINY) — The Slovak government continues to borrow on the market by selling bonds. In Monday’s auction of three-year bonds, the Finance Ministry’s Debt and Liquidity Management Agency (ARDAL) sold bonds worth EUR 149.3 million, while foreign investors bought bonds for EUR 71 million. Total bids exceeded EUR 600 million, with non-residents bids representing more than a half of the volume.

In Monday’s auction, investors asked for a minimum price of 97.0718 percent and maximum of 98.4055 percent. The average demanded price thus represented 97.9348 percent. ARDAL sold bonds at the limit price of 98.1700 percent. The average price of accepted bids was 98.2585 percent and maximum accepted price was 98.4055 percent.
