MARTIN, June 4, (WEBNOVINY) – While celebrating the 140th anniversary of the party establishment in Martin, opposition SNS chief Jan Slota has complained about Slovak media and homosexuals. The media have been digging up dirt on his party for some years and completely disregarded the threat of Hungarization and positive accomplishments of the SNS. Slota is upset about the never-ending stories related to the notice-board tender and the sale of emission allowances, which, in his words, are being kept alive artificially. On this occasion, he recommended that Interior Minister Daniel Lipsic eyeball the latest scandals of his coalition partners, sophistically plundering the state property.

Slota perceives homosexuals as severely ill and would like the entire society to share his view. The party leader complained that the media pay little attention to the anniversary of his party but cover the gay pride parade on a large scale. He stated that there are reasons for the existence of his party, which has to counter harsh and uncompromising Hungarization even after 140 years. Slota pledged that the SNS will fight for its nation and Slovakia’s statehood.

The party leader and Chairman of the national cultural heritage organization Matica Slovenska Marian Tkac unveiled a memorial plaque installed at the building of Matica Slovenska, dedicated to the Memorandum of the Slovak Nation adopted 150 years ago and the establishment of the Slovak National Party 140 years ago.
