BRATISLAVA, August 16, (WEBNOVINY) – After a three-month stagnation at 0.7 percent, harmonized inflation in July accelerated to 1 percent in July. The average twelve-month inflation remains at 0.3 percent, as in the four previous months. Slovakia’s consumer prices measured by the European Union’s Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) went up moderately in the seventh month of this year, by 0.1 percent, while they remained unchanged in June, informed the Slovak Statistics Office.
