BRATISLAVA, October 12, (WEBNOVINY) — The low-cost air carrier Ryanair, which has been operating on the Slovak market for five years, has transported 3.6 million passengers to/from Bratislava over this period. Ryanair has been reporting a stable growth during these five years. Its offer for the summer 2010 covered 21 lines to seven countries, Ryanair marketing manager Alexandra Konig stated at Tuesday’s news conference.
In the fiscal year April 2010 – April 2011, the air carrier plans to serve one million passengers to/from the Slovak capital. In the first year of its operation on the local market, the company reported 63,000 travelers to/from Bratislava. The airline considers the Bratislava Airport a very good partner and would like to expand further, elaborated Konig.
