BRATISLAVA, January 30, (WEBNOVINY) — People in Slovakia think that SMER-SD, SDKU-DS and SaS have the best-quality experts for management of the state, shows a representative telephone survey by the WakeUp agency. It surveyed 1,212 respondents between January 16 and January 30 asking them which political party has the highest quality experts to run the country. The highest percentage of those polled (20.45 percent) put hope in the opposition SMER-SD, followed by center-right SDKU-DS (8.75 percent) and SaS (3.71 percent). Then MOST-HID follow with 2.23 percent and KDH with almost two percent. One-third of those polled were unable to answer the question while one-fifth preferred the opinion that none of the parties has such experts.
The agency also asked the respondents about which political party has the best political program to deal with the current crisis. As many as 24.83 percent of respondents think again that SMER-SD has the best political program to put an end to the current crisis. SDKU and SaS follow the party of Robert Fico while KDH and the Ordinary People and Independent Personalities won the same support. Almost one-fifth of respondents failed to answer the question.
Respondents were also asked about which politician can heal the economy in the most efficient way and thus increase their standard of living. Most respondents think that SMER-SD leader Robert Fico is such politician when he harvested 26.4 percent. Over seven percent of respondents find SDKU’s Ivan Miklos a politician able to find a way out of the crisis. Then Richard Sulik (SaS), Iveta Radicova (SDKU), Bela Bugar (MOST-HID), Igor Matovic (Ordinary People and Independent Personalities) and SDKU’s Mikulas Dzurinda follow with over one percent of the vote. As many as 26.32 percent hold a skeptical to negative stance, as according to them the Slovak political scene does not have a politician able to heal the economy and thus improve the standard of living.
