BRATISLAVA, April 27, (WEBNOVINY) — The four deputies for the Civil Conservative Party (OKS), who are members of the MOST-HID deputy caucus, will likely be able to participate at Coalition Council sessions. This should be possible in events when OKS and MOST-HID differ in opinions. An OKS deputy should be the fourth member of the MOST-HID delegation in Coalition Council sessions.

This stems from a draft agreement on future cooperation, which representatives of the MOST-HID party delivered to their OKS colleagues on Wednesday. “I expect them to make several proposals for changes, but we might be able to sign it next week,” MOST-HID leader Bela Bugar commented on the agreement at a news conference. He does not expect the OKS deputies to turn down the agreement. Bugar remarked that cooperation within the deputy faction is good, but they feel the need to seal it in this form, too. They perceive the agreement as a stabilization step to contribute to stability of the whole government.

According to the proposed deal, the OKS leadership should be immediately informed about prepared topics of the Coalition Council sessions. OKS deputies should be able to regularly meet with MOST-HID ministerial club, hold quarterly meetings of presidencies of both parties, and intensify cooperation in expert issues. Shall either of the parties require it, a three-member leadership meeting of both parties will be convened. According to the MOST-HID proposal, the agreement should be valid until March 31 of 2014. “It is not just a written document, but our sincere attempt to uplift cooperation to a certain higher level,” stressed chairman of the MOST-HID deputy faction Laszlo Solymos.
