BRATISLAVA, November 10, (WEBNOVINY) — Employees in the ICT sector were paid the highest average nominal wage in Slovakia in the first nine months of this year, namely EUR 1,540. The average nominal wage in industry stood at EUR 775, the sector of selected market services paid EUR 767 and the wholesale sector EUR 728.
According to data released by the Statistics Office of the Slovak Republic, the nominal wage in the distribution and repairs of motor vehicles was EUR 705 between January and September. Staff members in the sectors of transportation and storage earned EUR 697. The construction sector paid EUR 562, the sector of accommodation EUR 547, the retail sector EUR 539, and restaurants and pubs EUR 356.
